SIA/WWSRA On-Snow Demo returns to Winter Park in February 2020
After a six-year hiatus, the On-Snow Demo by Snowsports Industries America (SIA) and WWSRA will return to Winter Park Resort in Colorado for the event next February.
So far, 1,000 retailers from 39 states and six countries are confirmed for the largest national and international on-snow demo where attendees can test the gear they saw at the Outdoor + Snow Show just days earlier.
“We’re excited to bring the demo back to Winter Park," SIA President Nick Sargent said. “The opportunity presented itself to return the demo to its origins so we jumped at the opportunity. The mountain and its proximity to Denver, the facilities and lodging options throughout the Winter Park area will make this event truly world-class and accessible to everyone.”
For the past six years, the demo has taken place at Copper Mountain. But Winter Park Resort President Sky Foulkes is excited to welcome the event back.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase all that the resort has to offer while giving experts in the industry a chance to experience some really exciting new equipment," Foulkes said. "We look forward to hosting this event and are honored to play a role in supporting the sports that we all love so much."
The Nordic portion of the demo will take place just a few miles away at Devil’s Thumb Ranch, the premier Nordic center for Colorado and North American cross-country skiing with nearly 120 km of trails.
